Town Mayor - Cllr Rebecca Challice
Cllr Rebecca Challice was elected as Town Mayor at the Annual Council Meeting on 15th May 2023.
In her Incoming Mayor’s Announcement Cllr Challice thanked her family and friends for their support and stressed the importance of collaboration with the Borough Council. Cllr Challice thanked the outgoing Mayor for her support and for her work on International Affairs.
She praised the Youth Council for their forward-looking attitude and hoped to bring economic improvement to the Town.
